This intimate gathering of our key stakeholders to kick off our 2025 “Brake the Cycle of Absenteeism” campaign—specifically targeting East San Jose’s Berryessa Union School District, where the recent closure of two schools has left close to 100 students facing significantly longer walks (up to two miles).

That’s where we step in. With the support of our community – we’ll provide these students with bikes, helmets, and locks—safe, reliable transportation helping them get to school, stay engaged in learning, and participate in after-school programs and sports.

And this is just the beginning. Our goal is to roll this program out district-wide—so every child who needs a bike can get to school safely and consistently.
