My name is Ann. I am a donor and a volunteer at Good Karma Bikes. When my husband died, I wanted to dedicate time and resources to honor his memory. He was an avid cyclist and cycling mentor, who cared about his community and wanted to see everybody on a bicycle. What would be more fitting than Good Karma Bikes?
Since the first day I began volunteering for GKB, my enthusiasm for their mission has been off the charts. For them, bike transportation is life transformation. Every step of their process of taking a bike and changing a life is tuned to do the most good– improve the environment, empower volunteers, promote human wellness, support the unhoused – the list just goes on and on.
I knew this was the right place for me to make an impact locally, and it would definitely honor my husband. With your help, Good Karma Bikes can do even more good in our community, as there are more people needing their services than ever before. Please join me to support this amazing nonprofit that is having such a tremendous impact on the lives of people in need each and every day – they also have the best service fees in town! You can help with a single or monthly gift- even by donating a bike you’re not riding anymore.
With Appreciation,
Ann F.
